Vampires cup 1 Sep - 13 Oct
The Vampire Cup initiative sets the task to each of our members to raise awareness and promote the importance of blood donation to the Australian public and our own pharmacy students. During the 6 week campaign the Pharmacy Awareness Committee work collaboratively with the Australian Red Cross to actively encourage people to donate blood, plasma or platelets at their local Red Cross Blood Bank on behalf of TEPSA . It is hoped the Vampire Cup encourages our members and the wider Australian community to become regular donators beyond the Vampire Cup campaign.
Charity CupNAPSA'S charity this year is the James Macready-Bryan (JMB) Foundation. The JMB Foundation was set up in February 2007 to provide financial support for care and rehabilitation and a public voice for young sufferers of acquired brain injury (ABI) and their families.
TEPSA raised awareness and money for the charity through selling raffle tickets and holding a Bake Sale at Charles Darwin University. This year, with our tremendous team effort of all NAPSA's branches we raised $30,738 surpassing last years record of $21,598. Well done guys! |
